CYD (Community Youth Development)
Community youth development is a national
movement [www.nn4youth.org/] that believes
youth have the power, capability and desire to make their communities a better
place for themselves and others. Community youth development means giving youth
opportunities to be not merely recipients but also participants involved
in designing, delivering and evaluating services that benefit their own
community!
Services are provided to youth 17 years of age and under, who reside or attend school in the 76707 zip code and to family members of eligible youth. There are no income eligibility requirements to receive services, participation is completely voluntary, and all services are offered free of charge.
