EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: YOUTH CARE WORKER Part-time & On-Call Youth Care Worker positions are available at Option House Emergency Shelter for children and youth in Killeen, Texas. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age and possess either a High School Diploma or GED. Prior experience working with children and youth is helpful. Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and minimum State required insurance and transportation. Must pass a criminal history & child abuse history check and drug screening for employment. Minimum starting wage: $8 per hour with High School Diploma or GED, and $9 per hour with College Degree. Pay increases .50 cents per hour after 90-days of employment, and another .50 cents per hour after one year of employment. Benefits: Full benefits package for Full-Time Youth Care Workers include paid Scott & White Health Plan, paid vacation - sick leave - holidays, training, retirement and longevity.
