PROJECT SAFE PLACE is operated in Bell and McLennan Counties by Central Texas Youth Services.  This bright yellow sign is recognized by children and youth.  They know this sign means they are at a safe place where they can get help.  These signs can be seen all over Central Texas outside of convenience stores, shopping centers and malls, fire stations, police departments, hospitals, libraries, city buildings, and other youth serving organizations.  Safe Place site personnel are trained what to do when children and youth approach them for help.
